Get Race Day Ready | Brooke
Whether you’re entering Fashions on the Field or coming along to enjoy the day’s festivities, we asked the Cluden Park Fashions Committee to share their race day fashion and beauty inspiration so you can put your most stylish foot forward.
In this five-piece content series, Committee Members will take you through the latest trends to inspire your outfit.
This year’s fashions theme across the Ladbrokes Winter Racing Carnival is to incorporate A Touch of Gold, a nod to the 150-Year Anniversary celebrations of the Townsville Turf Club.
Explore Property Munro & Co Ladies Day and Ladbrokes Townsville Cup are sure to be a fashionable affair, both on and off the fashion runway.
Piece 5 / 5: Brooke
Representing a spring/summer look, the flowers provide a touch of gold, not only through the colouring of the material within the petals but further accentuated through the detail in the stamen of each flower.
With the flowers woven into the headband, the fascinator becomes a statement piece as it wraps around the neck to provide a feminine look while also creating a clear link in the whole outfit from head to toe.
The piece, created by Kirby McGill from By Kirby, a member of the Cluden Park Fashion Committee, complements the outfit with the bow of the fascinator linking to the wrap-around structure of the dress.
The headwear in the outfit could be worn for the millinery category on either the Explore Property Munro & Co Ladies Day or Ladbrokes Townsville Cup.
As excitement builds for the upcoming race days, now is the perfect time to start planning your outfit.
Whether you opt for floral patterns or a metallic finish, confidence is the best accessory you can wear, and it will shine through in whatever outfit you choose.
