Cluden Park is the only multi-purpose events and entertainment precinct offering racing in North Queensland. A rich history of sport and entertainment began in 1882 with the formation of the Townsville Turf Club. Today, the heritage of the club lives on in the form of live racing and events held in heritage-listed buildings.
Located on private grounds, Cluden Park is a short 12-minute drive from the Townsville CBD. The private grounds feature an evergreen racecourse with the iconic Mt Stuart and mountain range standing proudly in the background. Eight indoor and outdoor facilities are dedicated to events and entertainment, all located on a sprawling land 64-hectare reserve with lawns featuring 100-year-old fig trees.
We are a highly flexible venue with unlimited potential for private functions and small to large events.
