The Lawrence & Hanson 2YO Classic gets Cluden Park's $1 Million Ladbrokes Winter Racing Carnival underway in sensational style. Experience thrilling racing and an atmosphere unmatched!
This feature race day also kickstarts Cluden Park's 150th Anniversary celebrations, which will be felt throughout the Carnival.
Year in and year out hundreds of thoroughbreds begin their racing careers as two-year-olds. The 2YO Classic, boasting $100,000 in prize money, is designed to identify the best two-year-old thoroughbreds North Queensland has to offer.
Held on the same day that the Queensland Oaks takes Brisbane by storm, the Lawrence & Hanson 2YO Classic Race Day is a punter's delight!
The day's fashion focus is on a Millinery Showcase, featuring a unique Millinery and Hatter Mini Market and Millinery-only Fashions on the Field.

Meet Milliners and source your Ladbrokes Winter Racing Carnival headwear at the Millinery and Hatter Mini Market on the Fig Tree Lawns.
Held within the Lawrence & Hanson 2YO Classic Race Day, 8 June, milliners will be showcasing their collections in the Fig Tree Lawns for racegoers to browse their incredible displays.
There will be pieces ready for direct purchase, or choose your favourite materials to design your own personal headwear ahead of Explore Property Munro & Co Ladies Day and Ladbrokes Townsville Cup.

Millinery Showcase Fashions on the Field
Be seen in your best headwear as roaming judges pick the Top 10 from the crowd across three categories: Classic Millinery, Contemporary Millinery, and Gentleman's Hat.
Make sure you can be seen! All headpieces will be taken into consideration by roaming judges and you will be notified if you are a finalist.
